When it comes to moving, packing up everything you own can be one of the most difficult tasks. The more rooms you have in your house, the harder it gets to keep everything organized.
Our professional packers have years of expertise in packing up entire households. We’ve put together a short list of 5 box labelling tips for an easy move.
- Use a red permanent marker. It’s easier to see and won’t blend in with the colour of the box.
- Label any fragile items with “FRAGILE” and “THIS WAY UP” arrows.
- Keep similar items from the same room in the same box.
- Write the destination or room on all sides of the box. You don’t want to have to flip the box over and over to find the side with the label.
- Label all the boxes from bedrooms with each family member’s name. Then tape a piece of paper with the names on their bedroom door in the new house.

Indeed, labelling is very important so you would know what is inside of every box and if you need to handle such box with extra care. this would prevent your breakable items from sustaining damages. In terms of labelling, one thing I learned from http://www.boxesaz.com/ is that you can place the label on the tapes so you can use the box again later on if you will need them.
