Our Founder Mary Ellen Sheets has spent her entire life volunteering. She has given both monetary donations and her own time to help to better other people’s lives. So when she started TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, it made sense to include community service in the foundation of the business.
This is clearly illustrated in the number of discounted moves donated by franchises, hours and truck time donated, and toy drives during the holidays.
All across North America we’re actively involved in our communities. As a continued supporter of charitable organizations, we’ve partnered with The Mikey Network to help support Mikey’s mission to promote “heart-healthy living” and the placement of public access defibrillators.
As part of the Mikey On Board program, all of our moving trucks are now equipped with a MIKEY defibrillator. When you see a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Canada truck, it doesn’t just mean someone is moving in or out of the neighbourhood. It means there’s help close by.
