Here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, we know that exceeding our customer’s expectations requires continuous improvement and development. As part of an ongoing initiative to make our customers our number one priority , we recently held a Safety and Truck Training Session for all of our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchisees.
The session had a excellent turnout – our franchise owners, managers, drivers and movers were all on-site to learn about new requirements and techniques, as well as to brush up on current standards.
We brought in a special instructor who was knowledgeable about all things having to do with moving and truck safety. Some of the topics we covered included:
- CVOR Requirements – Those are the requirements needed to receive a Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration certificate, which all of our drivers must obtain before getting behind the wheel one of our moving trucks.
- Ontario Regulations for Commercial Motor Vehicle Inspections – Important to know so we can ensure all our moving trucks pass inspection.
- Daily Trip Inspections and Truck Maintenance – This is to make sure we know how to to check that everything is working A-okay before each customer move.
There was great participation among the session attendees, with many excellent questions. The session finished with a test and review of subject matter. It wasn’t all classroom style learning, however! As you can see from the pictures below, we had on-site, hands-on-training as well.
Thank you to all our franchisees for attending this training session! Continuing to update and refresh our moving knowledge, so we can exceed our customer expectations 100%, is one reason why we’re the Movers Who Care®.
