This week’s High Five Friday goes to Marcus Jones from Midtown & Downtown Toronto!
Today being Remembrance Day, it is appropriate to mention that Marcus served in The Canadian Armed Forces from 1997-2016. Marcus is very proud to have served his country for so many years.
We asked Marcus’ boss, John Bailey, Franchisee and General Manager of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Midtown and Downtown Toronto, to tell us a little bit about him. Here’s what he had to say:
“Marcus’ discipline and great attitude make him an exceptional person. He will be celebrating two years with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in February. Marcus is a very patient and personable mover. Year to date he has a 98% referral rating from the customers he has moved! Marcus really takes pride in his customer service. Thank you Marcus, for dedicating a large portion of your life to your Country!”
Here’s what customers are saying when Marcus is on the job:
I can not say enough good things about this company. I was treated so kindly from booking with the office by Nicole and the movers Marcus, Kevin and Wayne were so amazing! We were moving my 77 year old mother from North York to Keswick. She had recently battled cancer, chemo and numerous operations the last one being 2 weeks before the move. The guys were so positive with my mum and worked around her and let her lay on the couch until the last minute so she could rest. They were fast and efficient and funny too. Really made the move less stressful on my already very anxious mum. At the other end my husband said they were just great. Unloaded fast and we even had 1 hour taken off our bill as they got the job done so quickly. Your company is great, the staff are amazing!!

They came on time, were very good with me. Their service went above and beyond on a very stressful day for me. We had a complex hospital style bed that needed disassembly on one end. They kept on working the problem until we were able to safely move it to the retirement home. While this was probably not one of their biggest loads, it was a load off my mind when it got to its destination safely. They were polite, resourceful, and quick, all things that make up a good moving company employee. They also took care to make sure that everything was well wrapped before being put on the truck.

Marcus, thank you so much for all your hard work and for your service to our country. Congratulations and High Five!
