Franchising with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Canada: FAQ

January 22, 2015 By A Very Moving Blog

As part of our continued expansion, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Canada often attends trade shows and expos. We love meeting new people and speaking with them about the franchising opportunities we have available.

We always get a lot of questions when we attend these shows, so we thought we’d answer a few of them for you here on the blog.

Why Choose The Moving Industry?

It’s a $4 billion industry with 14-16% of families moving in Canada annually.

Who Are TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®?

It all started as an after-school business for two high school boys. Now, over two decades later, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has grown into North America’s largest local franchised moving company. In June of 2005, the first TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® CANADA franchise opened in Hamilton, Ontario. Hamilton’s great success has been followed by additional franchises throughout Ontario.

What Makes Franchising with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® different?

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is an industry leader in local and regional moving and its franchisees enjoy the benefits and success of being part of a growing multi-billion dollar service industry supported by a world class franchise organization.

Why Would Customers Choose TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®?

With a 96% customer referral rate, it is clear that customer satisfaction drives our company from the time we answer an inquiry to move day to after the move is complete. From every strategic initiative and investment undertaken at home office to how we measure our success, the discussion is always about whether we delivered the world’s best moving service each and every day.

It’s not just about talk; we have put our talk into action by building a system backstopped by training and support.

What Does Your Brand Stand For?

At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® we firmly believe our economically sustainable competitive advantage is our high standard of customer satisfaction. When we bring a new franchisee into the system, they become a part of our mission to deliver on this customer satisfaction promise.

How Do You Stand Out From The Competition?

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchisees enjoy the benefits of one of the most eye-catching logos in the franchise industry. Initially drawn on the back of a napkin, the original two stick men drawing is now an internationally recognized logo which is synonymous with an award winning franchise system, customer service and satisfaction.

Our award-winning advertising includes direct mail, radio, television and the web. Our online presence delivers the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand to laptops, desktops and handheld devices for our customers who are on the move.

Are You Involved In The Community?

One of the ways we give back to the community is through our partnership with The Mikey Network and the Mikey On Board Program.

As part of the Mikey On Board program, all TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Canada moving trucks are equipped with a MIKEY defibrillator and all Canadian franchisees, their movers, and drivers, have been trained to use a MIKEY. As our trucks circulate throughout their communities, they carry a second chance at life for people who might be affected by sudden cardiac arrest.

Which Locations Do You Have Available?

We’re looking for franchisee candidates who would be interested in purchasing and developing these markets:
