High Five Friday: Paul Verge from Halifax, Nova Scotia

This Friday, we’re sending a High-Five out to Paul Verge, from our Halifax, NS, location!

We asked Jason Morais, General Manager of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Halifax, to tell us about Paul. Here’s what he had to say:

Paul is our Lead Driver with over 20 years of experience in the moving industry. Paul has been with the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Halifax family for over 2 years and continues to live by its core values. Paul takes pride in ensuring all of the items he is transporting are safe and arrive on time. He also enjoys teaching new team members and is always willing to go that extra mile on a move.

Once we arranged the move with Tammy (who was very helpful and didn’t mind all of the questions we had) the large truck arrived at the time promised. The interior of the truck was clean and tidy. The three men that were on the job, Paul, Jason and Tyler, were very productive and personable. We used the company for the first time to move one heavy piece of stored furniture. We used TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Halifax to pack and move our two bedroom apartment that had a two storey walk up to a house with more stairs. The packers arrived on time and were very friendly. They wrapped everything carefully and didn’t complain when the packing took longer than estimated (our fault, not theirs as we underestimated the amount of stuff that we own). On move day again they were very prompt and worked quickly. They asked questions about where to put things in the house and even moved some things when we asked. They even had to take apart and reassemble a futon to get it in the desired room! TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Halifax were very professional from beginning to the end.

I had one very heavy item to move. Initially I was told there was 3-hour minimum charge. I was unwilling to pay that much. However, they scheduled me in at the end of another move, so it was far cheaper for me. The guys arrived on time, and in the time it took me to herd my cats out of the way, they were done. Can’t recommend them enough.
