This week’s High Five Friday goes out to Stephen Brathwaite from Mississauga!
Sometimes our employees do something so nice, that people are moved to write the corporate office to tell us about it. This week we got such a note, telling us about an act of kindness that Stephen performed, and it deserves a high five.
Hi there,
Yesterday on December 12, 2016, my neighbour was having his stuff moved in the morning. The moving truck was on my side of the driveway and while I was waiting for your employees to move it out of the way (so I could get my car out), I started shoveling snow out of my driveway.
One of your employees, Stephen, went above and beyond and offered to help me shovel my driveway because he saw it was difficult for me. I am really grateful for Steven’s help. You’ve employed a very stand-up individual who cares about the quality of his service and genuinely cares about helping others. His actions really meant a lot to me and made my day.

We asked Stephen’s boss, Omar Sleem, General Manager of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Mississauga, to tell us a bit about him,. Here is what he had to say:
“Stephen has been a driver at the Mississauga franchise for over 6 months, and we feel very lucky to have him on our team. He’s hard working, thoughtful, and I’m not surprised he would take the time to help someone like this. I’m really proud that he did, though.”
Stephen’s favourite core value is The Grandma Rule® “To treat everyone the way you would want your Grandma treated” and his favourite thing to do on his off time is enjoy baseball.
We all know moving is hard work and moving on a snowy day, is even harder than usual. We think Stephen taking the time to help one of our customer’s neighbours shovel their driveway is a great example of living our core values, and showing that we are truly the “Movers Who Care®.”
Thank you for for all you do Stephen, and High Five!
