When filling out an online form for a free moving quote, it’s important to give as much information as possible. The more detailed you are, the more accurate of a quote we’ll be able to give.
Contact info
The most important piece of information we need is how to contact you. Be sure to leave an email address that you check frequently. If you find it difficult taking personal calls at work, leave a cell phone or home number where we can reach you at time that is most convenient for you.
Date of move
Certain dates, such as the beginning and the end of the month, tend to fill up with reservations fast. Be sure to book your movers as soon as you know for sure you are moving!
Type of move
Single item, house, apartment, townhouse, business, etc. There is a large difference between moving a few items of furniture and moving an entire house. It’s especially important to know if you’re doing a residential move or a business move!
Square footage
If we know the size of your home or office, we’ll be able to make a more accurate estimate of how much furniture you might have and how many boxes you’ll need.
Number of floors
If you live in a house, we’ll need to know how many flights of stairs your movers will be going up and down. If you live in an apartment, we’ll need to know if your movers will be using the service or freight elevator.
Address
It’s important to give us the address of both your new house and your old house. We’ll need to know both addresses to make a proper estimate of how long the move might take, especially if you are moving a great distance away.
