Take-out and delivery food used to be the meal du jour on moving day. Let’s face it- with the stress of packing, moving, and then unpacking, cooking is the last thing on anyone’s mind on move day. Fast food take-out is not your only option though! With a little preparation, it’s possible to have an easy to clean up home cooked meal for your last meal in your old home and your first meal in your new one.
So we’re starting a blog series where we’ll share our favourite one pot meals. One pot means easy clean up, and they’ll be foods that are great to re-heat the next day too. This way, you can have a nice home cooked meal that you just have to reheat in your new home.
We love using slow cooker recipes because you only have that one pot to clean, and usually just one cooking utensil (a fork or spoon). They won’t all be slow cooker recipes, but this first one is. It’s really tasty slow cooked pulled pork. We hope you like it!
