The National Association of Senior Move Managers has declared this week, May 12-18, 2013, to be National Senior Move Managers Week.
Helping a senior downsize from their own home to a smaller condo or assisted living situation can be very tough. Decades of memories are stored within all the personal items that need to be packed up or given away. Trying to decide what to do with these items can be a lot of work, both emotionally and physically. Senior Move Managers are experts at recognizing and managing the stress of downsizing older adults.
There are many reasons why someone might consider hiring a Senior Move Manager. Some people want to help their elderly parents through the difficult downsizing process, but are overwhelmed and don’t know where to begin.
