A Recap of the Busiest Moving Weekend

Each year, more than 200,000 Canadians move during the month of June, and 68,000 of those will move over the Canada Day long weekend.

A combination of the weather, the end of the school year, financial advantages, and the extra time a holiday weekend affords, make this weekend a particularly good time for families to plan their move in Canada.

As a whole, it’s TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s system busiest move weekend as well. In total, we saw 3,100 trucks out with 7,500 team members making 6,200 moves from June 29th to July 1st. Below TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s original two men, Jon and Brig Sorber, spoke with customers during the weekend to talk with them about their moves.

Without surprise, this year’s busiest moving weekend was a huge success, thanks in large part to all of our hardworking staff that worked during the holiday long weekend.
